Neue Replik einer Sprechmaschine nach Kempelen
Für das Institut für Deutsche Sprache in Mannheim haben wir eine „mobile Reise-Replik“ der Sprechmaschine von Wolfgang von Kempelen herstellen dürfen. In Zusammenarbeit mit Herrn Dr. Fabian Brackhane wurde diese Replik so entwickelt, dass sie leicht in ihre Einzelbestandteile zerlegbar und deshalb leicht zu transportieren ist. Als Holzarten wurden Eiche und Nussbaum verwendet. Außerdem haben wir Acryl-Glas verwendet, um dem Betrachter die Funktion und Verwendung der Maschine noch besser verdeutlichen zu können.
